Colorful Synthesis.

Katrina’s work is a rich fusion of playful colors, shapes, and materials. Wedding digital to handmade, her “embroidollages” and digital collages explore scales ranging from the subcellular to whole ecosystem. Similarly, her sketchbook is a dynamic exploration of internal and external nature. Collectively, her work encourages us to feel the beauty, wonder, and bittersweet in everyday living things and in emotional landscapes.
